Lord Walden was a human nobleman from eastern Gilneas.
History
Curse of the Worgen
One day before the attack on Gilneas City, he quarreled with Baron Ashbury because of the bad situation in Gilneas.
Cataclysm
He joined with Lord Vincent Godfrey to turn Genn Greymane over to the Forsaken in exchange for an end to hostilities. Along with his ally, Baron Ashbury, Walden was slain by Gilnean worgen who fought to save their King. Godfrey, Ashbury, and Walden were all raised in undeath by the Forsaken and served them for a time. After Godfrey betrayed the Forsaken by slaying Sylvanas Windrunner, Walden fled with his master into nearby Shadowfang Keep.

Abilities
- Gilneas
Seasoned Brandy — Inflicts normal damage plus 3 to an enemy, stunning it for 4 sec.
- Silverpine Forest
Holy Nova — Causes an explosion of holy light around the caster, causing 147 Holy damage to all enemy targets within 10 yards and healing all party members within 10 yards for 3. These effects cause no threat.
Holy Smite — Smites an enemy, inflicting Holy damage.
Inner Fire — A burst of Holy energy fills the caster, increasing armor by 10% and spell power by 10%.
Penance — Launches a volley of holy light at the target, causing 240 Holy damage to an enemy every 1 sec for 3 sec.
Power Word: Shield — Wraps an ally in a shield that lasts up to 30 sec., absorbing damage. While the shield holds, spell channeling will not be affected by damage taken.
