Introduction
Fall of the Zandalari is a fan-created raid instance concept that would act as the climax of the war between the heroes of Azeroth and the power-hungry Zandalari trolls. The raid is gigantic, consisting of sixteen bosses, four Raid Finder wings, multiple NPC allies, and various locations spanning the whole of Azeroth.
Following the prophet Zul’s takeover of the Zandalari, Rastakhan, the former king of Zandalar, exiled himself. Discovering the error of his ways, Rastakhan watched helplessly has Zul committed various atrocities against the rest of Azeroth in his desperation. Committed to writing his wrongs, Rastakhan approached the Alliance and Horde, reaching out for aid against the Zandalari. Both factions sent their finest champions to join Rastakhan’s cause to eliminate the troll threat once and for all. However, Zul, too, has been plotting. Not since the Cataclysm has such a global invasion been on the horizon for the kingdoms of Azeroth.

Dungeon Journal
Following Deathwing's calamitous Cataclysm, the Zandalari, one of the oldest empires of Azeroth, have struggled to survive as their home of Zandalar sinks into the Great Sea. After failed alliances with various troll empires and the Thunder King Lei Shen, the Zandalari, led by the ambitious Prophet Zul, have prepared to launch one final invasion of Azeroth. Rastakhan, the Zandalari's former king, has enlisted the aid of the Horde in the Alliance to crush the Zandalari's conquest and put an end to Zul once and for all.
Layout
Players start the raid on the only remaining portion of Zandalar still above sea level: Mugamba Isle, formerly Zandalar’s Mount Mugamba. At the peak for the former mountains, the Zandalari created a hidden sanctuary that acted as a holy place for their priests and scholars. The first four bosses of the raid are fought within this sanctuary. In Raid Finder, this wing is called The Hidden Sanctuary.
Once players and Rastakhan reach the summit of Mugamba, they discover that Zul has launched a global invasion of Azeroth with the help of his new mobile city/battlestation: Zul’Zanzar. Four specific locations across Azeroth are under attack by the Zandalari with a boss leading the location’s invasion: The Echo Isles, Ironforge, the Sunwell, and Nordassil. Portals take the players to these locations where they fight the single boss within. Players can choose the order in which they want to tackle these next four encounters. In Raid Finder, this wing is called Last Invasion of the Zandalari.
After denying Zul’s invasion, players, alongside leaders of the Alliance and Horde, board the flying Zul’Zanzar to retaliate against the Zandalari. Two bosses must be defeated before the raid can progress, but the order in which these are attempted are up to the player. Afterward, two more bosses are fought in a linear order as players continue to push through Zul’Zanzar’s defenses. In Raid Finder, this wing is called Siege of Zul'Zanzar.
After pushing through the outer defenses of Zul’Zanzar, the players, alongside Rastakhan, lay siege to Zul’s inner sanctum. The final four encounters progress in a linear fashion. The first three take place within the heart of Zul’Zanzar. However, after destroying the Voodoo Engine, the penultimate boss, Zul’Zanzar crashes into Mugamba Isle. The final boss encounter, against Rastakhan himself, takes place in the wreckage of the city. In Raid Finder, this final wing is called End of an Empire.
