Backstory

Toravaax Bloodsoul is, more or less, the next great undead powerhouse on Azeroth. He rules with an iron fist, dominating the remains of the Scourge and saving the world from total annihilation from the icy north. Toravaax finds himself in a situation with his back against the wall - the recent Cataclysm has left Azeroth shattered and unprotected, seeing the creation of many new enemies that threaten the existence of mortals and undead alike. He finds courage in the strength of his powers, and fears not for the coming events of Azeroth.

Toravaax was just a young boy during the long exodus of his people. Having spent the entirety of his life on the planet of Draenor, the Draenei spent most of his days studying the cosmos and practicing faith in the Light. By the time Toravaax was slowly becoming of age, his people began to reach out to the other intelligent races, where he met and lived with the native residents, the original, untainted orcs. For centuries his people had been coexisting in harmony with the aboriginals that inhabited the primordial planet. They shared beliefs, traditions, customs, and other wordly knowledge from a respectful distance. Together the orcs and draenei lived on the once lush world of Draenor. However, the peace did not last.

After hiding incognito from the Burning Legion amidst the plains of Draenor, the draenei were eventually discovered by the Eredar known as Talgath, their security now compromised. Instead of coming under direct attack from the demons themselves, the peaceful draenei found themselves in the midst of deception and genocide as the Eredar manipulated, tricked and convinced the orcs to turn against their neighbors. Being led by their corrupted visionary leader Gul'dan the now bloodthirsty orcs viciously and without mercy attacked the virtually undefended Draenei in a massacre that wiped out over 80% of the population. The conflict spanned across the length of eight years, staining the soil of Draenor red with blood.

During this hapless struggle, Toravaax charged into battle alongside countless other soldiers and captains whose names have been lost in history. Though the . Although the young warrior spearheaded many conquests all over Draenor Toravaax alone was not enough to stop the near annihilation of his species. Eventually, the draenei were able to escape with heavy casualties. Not long afterwards, the Exodar crashed on Azeroth leaving the remaining draenei race disheveled and disoriented on a new world they knew nothing about.

Even on the mysterious new world his race now called home Toravaax could not sit still for long, for his warrior blood still ached for the anarchy of war. While others ventured to the shattered husk that was now Outland in pursuit of evil, the battle-starved draenei looked north. When the Alliance called for heroes to join the campaign to Northrend Toravaax was one of the first to enlist. This bravery faded quickly, however, when his life was lost thanks to an unscripted and ill-fated attempt on the Icecrown Citadel at Angrathar the Wrathgate, ordered by his foolish and now late platoon leader, a young Stormwind general driven mad with revenge.

Like many others Toravaax was forced into service under the Lich King once he was slain, then broke free along as a death knight. Unlike the liberated Death Knights that followed the Horde and Alliance however, his freedom didn't become a reality until Arthas was defeated and Bolvar took his place as the Lich King. As all others of his kind he'd ever met belonged to the Ebon Blade or other factions, leaving him more an outcast than ever, Toravaax felt it appropriate to carve a path for himself instead of assimilating with those similar to him.

Formation of the Bloodless Order

Free from tyranny and bound by death, Toravaax knows full well the world is far from peaceful. As both the Alliance and Horde withdrew from their campaign in the north Toravaax took over the northern shelf of Azeroth. The life of a commander is all Toravaax had ever known. He has soldier's blood in his veins, surging through his body despite the fact that his cold heart no longer beats. Aimlessly wandering the beaten lands of Azeroth, Toravaax's striking and dictatorial qualities overwhelmingly attract death in drones. The freshly risen death knight found that dead creatures - no matter how big or small or stupid or smart - follow him unquestioningly. They're vigilant, loyal and unlike their living counterparts, easily replaceable. No longer does Toravaax live under the fear of losing his troops in the intense heat of battle; if his army falls, he could make them rise with the flick of the hand. It was that simple. Over time the grueling, mindless ragtag band of ghouls and ghosts that followed him resolutely evolved into an army of living abominations under a holy crusade.

Toravaax's Army

Toravaax leads an army of death against the old gods in the name of Azeroth.

Leaders

Commander Gravechill

  • IconSmall TaurenDeathKnight Male.gif Gravechill is unique in the sense that he is "blessed" by an ancient Val'kyr spirit known as Svaga the Undying. Able to call upon the powers of his watcher the Commander is neigh unmatched when it comes to controlling the deadly magic of the north.

Forgemaster Frigidbone

  • IconSmall FleshGiant.gif No army is complete without a supplier of weaponry. With a fleet of undead blacksmiths and warriors under his command, the Forgemaster does Toravaax well with his vast knowledge of craft, and his rime-tipped weapons.

Grizzlefang of the Maw

  • IconSmall FleshBeast.gif An unlikely candidate for a beast-master Grizzlefang is the atrocious and fearful slave driver of Toravaax. The flesh beast keeps a tight reign on the disease infested animals which is quite a feat for a lumbering abomination like itself.
    • IconSmall Plague-dog.gif Snarltooth - Enormous, violent, and ever hungry, Snarltooth is his master's favorite pet.

Lord Cadaverous, the Freezing

  • IconSmall BoneWraith.gif Toravaax's most trusted and powerful lieutenant, Lord Cadaverous was Toravaax's first foray into necromancy. The bone wraith acts as a general for Toravaax, directly commanding all of his troops and leading them into battle.

Urgeth

  • IconSmall FleshTitan.gif The undead have long since used the rotting body parts of their deceased enemies to stitch together abhorrent creations. Urgeth was one such brainchild, fabricated from the twisted minds of the Scourge's most twisted necromancers. Once the Lich King fell and most of the undead disbanded, Urgeth was left without a home. Luckily, he found a new master in Toravaax where he serves for a rather more noble cause.

Underking Iahm'Ra

  • IconSmall CryptLord.gif The undead mastermind behind Toravaax, Underking Iahm'ra is a maleficent genius who is an expert at concocting devious battle plans. As well as his masterful wits, the Underking is also very skilled in the art of necromancy and conjurings.

Vileblood

  • IconSmall PlagueEruptor.gif Never has their been a more putrid or disgusting creation than Vileblood. Constantly, infected boils of pure rancid disease churn and erupt, spraying contagion everywhere. It should be noted that Vileblood has the unique ability to empower his allies with the plague he holds dominance over.

Minions

Horrific Behemoth

  • IconSmall FleshGiant.gif Master creations of the Underking, and infused by the foul powers of the plague, these hulking giants tower over most over lifeforms, crushing all of the opposition. All of the many enemies destroyed by the Vengeance are devilishly stitched into these monstrous creations.

Diseased Bombshell

  • IconSmall NerubianSpiderling.gif Horror stories abound about these skittering savages that can penetrate any bastion of defense known to man kind on Azeroth. Each of the spiderlings are individually injected with a volatile concoction that causes them to violently rupture, expelling venom that can melt through even the hardest of metals.

Infectious Mutts

  • IconSmall Plague-dog.gif The pride and joy of the horrendous flesh beast known only as Grizzlefang. These ravenous beasts act as the slobbering guard dogs for the Vengeance, prowling the shadowing perimeters and stalking through the night looking for their next meal.

Rattlebone Cleavers

  • IconSmall BoneGolem.gif Serving only Lord Cadaverous in their life in undeath, the bone golems are vicious, and above all else, they are many. Empowered by strengths beyond the grave, the golems slice and bash their way to victory when called upon by their master.

Rattlebone Scavengers

  • IconSmall SkeletalRaptor.gif Few living creatures roaming the lands of Azeroth are as brutally bloodthirsty as a raptor. They're cunning, deceptive, and they have a pair of jaws that could shatter bones in an instant. The only thing that could possibly make raptors more lethal would be the power of undeath; and that's exactly what Lord Cadaverous had in mind when he created the foul beings.
