Palace of the Spider Queen is a level 93 raid dungeon containing six bosses, along with one heroic mode only boss and one legendary weapon quest boss. Together with Nidhogg's Lair and the Necropolis of Nerub, it forms the first raid tier of the Spider Kingdom Expansion.
Background
Nezar'Kali, Spider Queen of Azjol-Nerub and matriach of the Newbreed, rules supreme within the great Palace of the Spider Queen. Mother and monarch to a new generation of nerubians, Nezar'Kali's children are legion and stand poised to overwhelm the surface world. Her most powerful servants stand guard over their queen, as she ceaseless gives birth to soldier after soldier.
The Newbreed swarm through the palace halls, attending to their mother, but other dark forces have gathered as well. The enigmatic Arach'layn are present, standing guard over the Spider Queen. The Twilight Cult has a presence as well, with their leader Xarosan commanding them personally. At the heart of the palace, Nezar'Kali awaits. Those who dare to breach her sacred throne-room will learn the true horror of the nerubian race, and the dark architect behind the rise of the Spider Kingdom.
Dungeon Journal
The Palace of the Spider Queen has been the ruling place of Spider Kingdom matriarchs for over 10,000 years. Constructed on a spire of rock suspended from the cavern ceiling on countless intertwining strands of webbing, millennia old and stronger than adamantine, the elaborate palace of the Spider Queen is an imposing sight, the most magnificent structure in all of Azjol-Nerub.

Spider Lord Rath'Amon
A Newbreed Spiderlord, this colossal monster guards the gates of the palace itself, acting as the first line of defense for the Spider Kingdom's ultimate stronghold.
Obsidian Destroyers - Creos and Andros
Two obsidian destroyers, once tol'vir who were captured and driven insane by the magical experiments of the nerubians. Purged of the curse of flesh and filled with overwhelming dark energy, this stone twins act as sentinels for the upper regions of the palace.
Zephon the Venomous
One of the most promising warriors of the night elves 10,000 years ago, Zephon spent an eternity languished in the shadow realm as a disembodied spirit before the Cataclysm returned his people to Azeroth. Now the greatest champion of the arach'layn, Zephon is prepared to unleash ten millennia of anger and hate upon the races of the world.
Elder Sage Council
The last of the surviving elder sages of Azjol-Nerub. Their role has been utterly supplanted by the monstrous creatures of the Newbreed, and they are prepared to sell their lives deadly in one final act of service. Each Sage rules over a powerful array of magicks the likes of which the people of the surface have never dreamed of.
Spider King Tuten'Kahn
Heir to Anub'arak, and the king of the Spider Kingdom. A colossal spider lord, Tuten'Kahn has grown nearly too large to leave the palace. He will bar the path of any who seek to bring harm to his deloved queen.
Spider Queen Nezar'Kali
Mistress of the Spider Kingdom. Mother of the Newbreed. Nezar'Kali has sold her soul and those of her people to the darkest of powers in order to secure their dominion of the world. Her she will make her final stand. Her she will carve out the dark empire she is destined for.
Zephon the Deathless
Quest Boss Only - This encounter can only be fought while on the quest to complete the legendary twin blades, Blightsear and Balefrost.
Valthraxx the Everliving
Heroic Mode Only - This encounter can only be fought after defeating Spider Queen Nezar'Kali in Heroic Mode.
