Heir to Anub'arak, and the king of the Spider Kingdom. Having grown to massive size, Tuten'Kahn is the final line of defense before the throne of Spider Queen Nezar'Kali.

Dungeon Journal

A colossal spider lord of the previous generation, Tuten'Kahn has grown nearly too large to leave the palace. He will bar the path of any who seek to bring harm to his beloved queen. Forces of Doorward have joined in on the assault, and are prepared to engage Tuten'Kahn with their formidable siege engines. Only the power of these dwarven-forged war machines may tip the tide against the Spider King's terrifying physical might.

Spells and Abilities

Spider King Tuten'Kahn's Abilities

  • Inv misc nerubianchitin 01.png Nerubian Chitin  —  A buff that reduces all damage. It is present on Tuten'Kahn's head, left arm, and right arm. A stack will be removed every time a target takes a certain amount of damage. Stacks can also be removed using the siege engines special abilities. Stacks to 100.
  • Spell nature regenerate.png Regenerate  —  Places 100 stacks of Nerubian Chitin upon Tuten'Kahn and his limbs. Up to one crippled limb will be restored and become able to attack.
  • Inv throwingknife 06.png Cleaving Strike  —  Strikes a single target for massive damage. Only usable if Tuten'Kahn's left arm is unharmed. Interruptable by vehicle attacks.
  • Ability warrior savageblow.png Sweeping Strike  —  Strikes all enemies for physical damage. Only usable if Tuten'Kahn's right arm is unharmed. Interruptable by vehicle attacks.
  • Ability warlock eradication.png Furious Bellow  —  Causes all enemies to flee in terror. Interruptable by vehicle attacks (see below).
  • Ability backstab.png Impale  —  Impales the current target on Tuten'Kahn's horn, reducing their threat to zero and dealing bleed damage over time. The impaled target is stunned and cannot act. Lasts for 5 seconds. When released, the target has Punctured Armor, which reduces the effectiveness of armor and healing spells for 15 seconds.
  • Spell frost iceshard.png Spine Barrage  —  Bombards all enemies with spines. Used if Tuten'Kahn's primary target is not in melee range.
  • Ability smash.png Demolish —  An attack that reduces a random vehicle's health by 25%. Interruptable by vehicle attacks.

  • Ability rogue quickrecovery.png Leap  —  Leaps at the enemy, interrupting any abilities they are currently casting and dealing damage to them. Used on random targets.

  • Spell nature corrosivebreath.png Poison Bolt  —  Deals a large amount of nature damage to the target and poisons them for additional damage over time.
  • Trade brewpoison.png Poison Wrap  —  Wraps the target in webbing, preventing them from moving for several seconds and dealing nature damage over time.

Players may employ these powerful weapons against Tuten'Kahn.

Titanium Colossus

A piloted colossus machine that can be used to tank Tuten'Kahn and heal allies. Abilities use Titan Engine Energy, which is produced by taking or dealing damage. Immune to bleed effects, stun effects, and effects that reduce armor.

  • Ability rogue ambush.png Titanic Strike  —  Deals a high amount of damage to the target. Causes a large amount of threat. Builds Titan Engine Energy.
  • Ability thunderclap.png Titanic Stomp  —  Forces all nearby enemies to focus on the Titanium Colossus for several seconds. Deals area of effect damage to all nearby enemies. Nerubian Spiders will be instantly squashed with this ability. Requires Titan Engine Energy to be at 25%.
  • Ability golemthunderclap.png Titanic Uppercut  —  Deals a moderate amount of damage to the target. Interrupts any ability Tuten'Kahn is currently using when used on any of his limbs or his head. Requires Titan Engine Energy to be at 50%.
  • Spell nature regeneration 02.png Titanic Bloom  —  Energy from the Colossus is released, healing all nearby allies for a large amount of health and healing them for additional health over time. Requires Titan Engine Energy to be at 100%.

Stormhammer Turret

A slow-firing turret that launches armor piercing projectiles and can stun smaller targets. Immune to bleed effects, stun effects, and effects that reduce armor.

  • Ability vehicle siegeenginecannon.png Cannon Burst  —  Deals damage to the target. Effective against larger enemies. Builds Cannon Charges when fired. Squashes smaller enemies instantly. Builds Cannon Charges when fired.
  • Spell paladin hammerofwrath.png Hammer Burst  —  Interrupts any ability Tuten'Kahn is currently using when used on any of his limbs or his head. Requires 5 Cannon Charges.
  • Spell nature lightningoverload.png Storm Field  —  Creates an aura of nature energy that absorbs any nature damage dealt to anyone within the Storm Field. Removes any nature-based DoTs and poisons from all nearby allies when used. Requires 5 Cannon Charges.
  • Inv hammer 01.png Stormhammer Burst  —  Strikes a single target, greatly reducing the effectiveness of their armor. Removes 50 stacks of Nerubian Chitin. Requires 10 Cannon Charges.

Dragonbreath Tank

A flame-thrower turret that can easily clear away large swarms of enemies and frees allies from being trapped in webbing. All attacks use Fuel, which replenishes slowly over time.

  • Inv summerfest firespirit.png Flame Thrower  —  Sprays the area in a cone in front of the Dragonbreath Cannon with flame, dealing fire damage to all enemies. Smaller enemies will be instantly burnt to a crisp.
  • Spell shaman lavaburst.png Napalm  —  Launches a canister of napalm, creating an area that burns continously, dealing damage to any enemies that stand in it.
  • Spell fire soulburn.png Ignition Charge  —  Launches a canister of burning fuel that sets Tuten'Kahn ablaze. Interrupts any ability Tuten'Kahn is currently using when used on any of his limbs or his head.
  • Inv misc head dragon 01.png Dragon Lance  —  Fires a burning lance into one of Tuten'Kahn's arms, instantly reducing it's health to zero. Can only be used on an arm that has no stacks of Nerubian Chitin.
  • Inv gizmo fuelcell.png Emergency Fuel  —  Restores all fuel and increases fuel regeneration rate for a short time. 45 second cooldown.

Strategy

Tuten'Kahn's body is composed of multiple targets, similar to Kologarn and Garalon. He remains stationary and can be fought with the aid of powerful siege engines constructed by the war engineers of Doorward.

Numerous Doorward adds will aid players in this encounter. Doorward Warriors will attack spiders, Doorward War Engineers will repair damage to vehicles and hurl dynamite that removes Nerubian Chitin from Tuten'Lahn, and Doorward Medics will cleanse poison and heal players. Each siege engine has 2 warriors, 1 war engineer, and 1 medic associated with it. They will die when their siege engine is destroyed, or when their health is reduced to 0 by damage.

Heroic Difficulty Heroic Mode

  • Siege engines deal more damage but will self-destruct when Tuten'Kahn reaches 50% health.

Achievement

  • Three Car Garage II - Defeat Tuten'Kahn without allowing any of the siege engines to be destroyed.
