The Ever-Rising Tide is an Azerite Essence obtained through the reputation factions in Nazjatar. This essence can only be used by healer specializations.

- Rank 2 is learned from [Codex of the Never-Ending Tides], purchased for 25 [Prismatic Manapearl]s from Speaker Utia / Atolia Seapearl. Requires Honored with the Waveblade Ankoan or the Unshackled.
- Rank 3 is learned from [Tome of the Quickening Tides], purchased for 50 [Prismatic Manapearl]s from Speaker Utia / Atolia Seapearl. Requires Revered with the Waveblade Ankoan or the Unshackled.
- Players who have learned Rank 3 of The Ever-Rising Tide, [Aegis of the Deep], or [Memory of Lucid Dreams] on any character have the option to purchase this item for 2,500 [Echoes of Ny'alotha] from MOTHER in the Chamber of Heart.
- Rank 4 is learned from [Vellum of Illuminating Tides], rarely looted from [Ankoan Supplies] or [Unshackled Supplies], the Paragon caches for the Waveblade Ankoan and the Unshackled.
Patch changes
- Patch 8.3.0 (2020-01-14): Reputation requirements to purchase ranks 1, 2, and 3 reduced to Friendly, Honored, and Revered (was Honored, Revered, and Exalted).
- Hotfix (2019-08-07): Fixed a bug causing The Ever-Rising Tide to give extra stacks of [Overcharge Mana] to Restoration Druids casting [Regrowth] in certain situations.
- Hotfix (2019-07-17):
- Overcharge Mana stacks can now be removed by dispels (e.g. [Dispel Magic] or [Purge]).
- Fixed an issue where Overcharge Mana sometimes granted a stack for a spell cast immediately before it was activated.
- Hotfix (2019-07-16): The Ever Rising Tide grants 50% less mana in PvP situations.
- Patch 8.2.0 (2019-06-25): Added.
