Regrowth is a druid healing spell. Regrowth is a fast spell to cast and heals for a decent amount, but this is balanced by poor mana efficiency. While the spell has a small HoT component it is mainly a direct heal.
Notes
- The initial heal from Regrowth can crit just like other direct healing spells. A critical effect on the initial heal will not have any effect on the amount of healing done by the HoT.
- The Heal over time effect can crit, based on critical strike.
- Instant cast while under the effect of [Incarnation: Tree of Life].
Tips and tactics
- The short casting time and fairly large initial heal makes Regrowth a useful emergency heal.

Patch changes
- Patch 11.0.2 (2024-08-13):
- Initial heal increased by 27% and its healing over time decreased by 3%.
- Initial healing effect is no longer reduced by 11% in PvP combat, and is instead increased by 25%.
- Hotfix (2024-01-22): Now costs 2.8% base mana for Restoration (was 3.2%).
- Hotfix (2023-12-19): Healing is no longer reduced in PvP Combat (was reduced by 20%).
- Hotfix (2023-11-28): Healing is now reduced by 20% in PvP combat (was 43%).
- Patch 10.2.0 (2023-11-07):
- Initial healing increased by 20%.
- Heal over time effect increased by 42%.
- Now costs 3.2% base mana for Restoration (was 3.4%).
- Patch 10.1.5 (2023-07-11): Now costs 10% of base mana (was 25%).

- Healing is no longer reduced in PvP combat (was 15%).

- Fixed an issue that allowed Regrowth to not consume Clearcasting while the Druid was under the effect of an [Innervate] that was cast on another player.
- Healing reduced by 15% in PvP Combat for Feral Druids.
- Patch 9.0.2 (2020-11-17): Rank 2 added at level 54: Regrowth's initial heal now has a 40% increased chance for a critical effect if the target is already affected by Regrowth.

- Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Now has a duration of 12 seconds (up from 6 seconds), but no longer refreshes its duration on targets at or below 50% health.
- Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now a level 18 Restoration specialization ability (was a level 12 ability for all druids). Now has a 60% increased chance for a critical effect, and the duration automatically refreshes to 6 sec each time Regrowth heals targets at or below 50% health.
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now costs 35% of base mana, up from 29% of base mana. Cast time reduced to 1.5 sec (was 2) and duration reduced to 6 sec (was 21).
- Patch 2.4.0 (2008-03-25): Mana costs reduced by 20%.
- Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Mana cost reduced by approximately 18%.
- Patch 0.7 (2004-06-15): Mana cost and heal amount increased.
