The Slitherblade is a tribe of naga[1] that have landed on the coast of Desolace, and have begun killing anyone who stands in their way.[2] They've been charged with searching the ruins in the area for ancient relics which may show them how to enter the plane of water.[3][4] Neptulon having discovered what the naga are planning has sent his servant Lord Hydronis to stop them.[5][6]
They once protected one of their sacred Serpent Statues on Ranazjar Isle, a small island northwest of Desolace. Their former leader, Lord Kragaru, was also the keeper of the Book of the Ancients, a book that contains the secrets of the naga, secrets that have been kept for centuries.[7] They stormed the sides of the Gallant as described in Rackmore's Log. The Slitherblade naga are enemies of the Drysnap makrura.[8]
