Siege of Boralus is a dungeon in Battle for Azeroth. It was originally only available for Mythic difficulty but would be available for Heroic difficulty since patch 8.1.0.

Adventure Guide

Lady Ashvane has unleashed her fury against the capital city's waning defenses. As Boralus burns, a small group of heroes must quell the rising chaos and put an end to Ashvane's plan to dominate the region.

• In the earliest builds of the alpha test, Lady Ashvane was the final boss.
• In earlier beta builds, the adventure guide entry description read: "Lady Ashvane has unleashed her endgame and set her forces against Boralus. As the city burns, a small group of heroes must quell the rising choas^[sic] and put an end to Ashvane's plan to dominate the region."

Patch changes

• Hotfix (2024-09-23): Addressed an issue where Heavy Ordnance triggered by adds can cause them to cast Iron Hook on Mythic difficulty.
  
• Hotfix (2024-09-17):
  • Players can now use both Alliance and Horde portal to enter the dungeon.
  • Leaving Siege of Boralus now puts players at the correct exit location based on their factions.
  • Jaina Proudmoore now teleports players to the correct exit location based on their factions.
    
• Hotfix (2018-12-19): The reputation and questing requirements to enter the Siege of Boralus and Kings' Rest dungeons have been removed.
  
• Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Siege of Boralus and Kings' Rest are now available on Heroic difficulty.
  
• Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Added.
