Shadowsong Shrine

Shadowsong Shrine[15, 73] was a ruin-covered hill in western Azshara. It was haunted by the ghosts of the highborne, who also roamed the surrounding landscape looking to quench all intruding life. The shrine shared its name with both Jarod Shadowsong, commander of the resistance during the War of the Ancients and Maiev Shadowsong, older sister of Jarod and the famous warden who was held responsible for the captivity of Illidan Stormrage after his betrayal at Mt. Hyjal. Any connection they have with the shrine is unknown.

Since the Cataclysm, the shrine has been removed by Alliance troops from Northwatch and rebuilt as a guard tower. The area has been incorporated into Talrendis Point.
