Season 13 (Tyrannical) is a PvP season that started on the 12th of March, one week after the release of patch 5.2.0 and the end of Season 12. The season lasted 27 weeks, ending on September 10, 2013 with the launch of patch 5.4.0.

Trivia
- Season 13 is the last season in which arena teams were used and where the end of season arena titles (Challenger, Rival, Duelist, Gladiator (title), and Rank 1 Gladiator) were distributed on a per battlegroup basis, as opposed to the region based system that followed it.
- Season 13 is the last season to use the old version of the Circle of Blood arena, without the extra ramps at the middle of the bridge. The new version of the arena, with ramps, was added with patch 5.4.0, as Season 13 ended.
