Sean Dempsey is a human who got wounded during an attack from the hostile worgen within Stoneward Prison. He is one of Darius Crowley's former Northgate rebels. The Gilnean player protects him and his companions Darius Crowley, Tobias Mistmantle and Vincent Hersham during another worgen attack.[1]
It seems that he was somehow eaten by crocolisks afterwards. Forsaken players find his head after killing one of the beasts and return it to Lord Godfrey.[2] After finding Sean's torso, appendages and giblets as well, he gets reanimated as a Forsaken himself. Despite this, he reacts extremely poorly to his 'salvation', and is shot by Godfrey shortly thereafter.
Sean is one of the people remembered by Tobias after the reclamation of Gilneas, noting that Sean and Vincent ultimately didn't make it to the reclamation of the kingdom.[3]

- In the Cataclysm alpha, he was revealed to have been assigned to infiltrate Darius Crowley's group in Stoneward Prison.
- The name is the same as that of the main character and singer of the song Rare Auld Times, by the famous Irish-music band The Dubliners.
