Samuel "Sam" Williams is a human located in Stormsong Valley.
Background
Battle for Azeroth
Samuel Williams was amongst the workers trapped at Mariner's Strand. He was freed by forces of the Storm's Wake and an Alliance emissary fighting the darkness gripping House Stormsong.[1] and accompanied them on their journey.[2]
After charging into Port Fogtide alone swearing in Brother Addington's name,[3] he was captured and subject to the dark magics of Brother Halsey, beginning his transformation into one of the K'thir. However, the Alliance emissary intervened, killing Halsey and beating the transformed Williams, reversing his transformation and saving him.[4]
Despite his transformation having been reversed, the whispers remained with him, and his condition worsened as the Storm's Wake approached the Shrine of the Storms.[5] In the penultimate confrontation with Lord Stormsong, Williams was transformed into the n'raqi Azshj'thul the Drowned. Though Taelia attempted to reach out to him, Brother Pike informed her that he was lost, and all that remained was darkness.[6]
