Rygos is a blue drake known for having a sharp tongue[1] and a mischievous nature. Rygos' egg was among the primal dragon eggs that were stolen from their nests by the titan-forged under the orders of the dragonflights.[2]
As a whelp, Rygos spent hours playing with Vyranoth in the Ruby Life Pools when the ancient proto-dragon had come to visit Alexstrasza, alongside his friends Atyrannus, Lailastrasza, and Talinstrasz.[3] He was among the drakes taken hostage by the djaradin in Harrowsdeep but was freed by Sirigosa.[4]
When Alexstrasza offered every dragon whose egg had been taken from a primal nest and ordered against their will a boon, Rygos' request was for access to the restricted section of the Azure Archives.[2]
