Parley was a white quel'dorei stallion steed and the mount of Verath Windrunner before the Great Wars, gifted by King Anasterian. Its coat was gleaming white, with a black mane and tail. Little Sylvanas and Vereesa Windrunner would ride it with their father. When Sylvanas received her own mount, the hawkstrider Snap, they would also race.

At the onset of the Second War, Verath and Lireesa were sent to Lordaeron City, so they set out on their horses. On their way, however, they were ambushed by the Amani trolls and orcs of the Old Horde south of Northwatch Tower in Eastweald. While the elves died, the horses managed to escape. Several days later, Parley returned home to Windrunner Spire but was injured, struck by an arrow. Talvas tended to his injuries; he removed the arrow, confirmed there was no poison, and said Parley would be fine. Upon seeing Parley, Sylvanas hugged him.

His status afterward is unknown.
