- Multi-Shot is a basic Hunter spell in Hearthstone. The flavor text reads: "You see, it's all about throughput."
Patch changes
- Patch 11.0.2 (2024-08-13): No longer deals 15% increased damage in PvP combat.
- Patch 11.0.0 (2024-07-23):
- Moved to row 4 in the Beast Mastery tree (was row 2) and row 2 in the Marksmanship tree (was row 6).
- Focus cost increased to 30 for Marksmanship (was 20).
- Hotfix (2023-08-07): Damage increased by 8%. Does not apply to PvP.
- Patch 10.0.7 (2023-03-21): Marksmanship damage increased by 15%.
- Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 2 Beast Mastery/row 6 Marksmanship talent (was a level 23 ability for both).
- Patch 9.1.5 (2021-11-02): No longer maximum target capped and now deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
- Hotfix (2021-07-12):
- Beast Mastery: Damage increased by 15%.
- Marksmanship: Damage increased by 10%.

- Now capped at 5 targets.
- Marksmanship: Focus cost increased to 20 (was 15).
- Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Marksmanship: Damage increased 25%, and radius increased to 10 yards (was 8).

- Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now generates focus for every target hit for Marksmanship. Damage increased by 10%.

- Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Weapon damage reduced from 120% to 60%.
- Hotfix (2010-12-20): Multi-Shot, modified by the talent [Serpent Spread], should now properly spread [Serpent Sting] to other targets that are within range when a nearby player is affected by Serpent Sting.
- Patch 4.2.0 (2011-06-28): Damage has been reduced. It now deals 120% weapon damage at level 80 or higher, down from 137%.
- Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): Damage increased by 250%. Now properly has a range of 40 yards and a global cooldown of 1 second.
- Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Mana cost increased to 9% base mana (was 8%.)
- Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Mana cost adjusted back to a value closer to its pre-2.0.1 version.
- Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Redesigned. Now hits the current target and all enemies within 8 yards of that target.

- Patch 1.5.0 (2005-06-07): Special ability shots no longer add the ranged weapon speed or take into account ranged weapon haste when determining the actual cooldown. The tooltip and cooldown timers should now properly reflect the actual cooldown.
- Patch 1.11.0 (2006-06-19): Will no longer land if target cannot be seen by the caster due to stealth or invisibility.
- Patch 1.10.0 (2006-03-28): This ability now has its attack power normalized the same as melee instant attacks. This means that the attack power contribution from all ranged weapons will be the same, no matter what their speed. All weapons will contribute attack power as if they were 2.8 speed. Weapons slower than 2.8 speed will do slightly less damage than previously; weapons faster than 2.8 speed will do slightly more damage.
