Joining the Mithril Order

WoW Icon update.png The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic Era.

The Mithril Order only accepts new members that prove their skills in working with Mithril. To do that, upcoming blacksmiths can do the Mithril Order quest chain. During this quest chain a blacksmith receives all blacksmithing plans that are needed for doing B Blacksmithing [40] The Art of the Armorsmith. Note that the player is not obliged to specialize in Armorsmithing to start or complete this series of quests.

Following is a short overview of this quest chain:

  1. A Blacksmithing [40] The Origins of Smithing/N [51-60] The Old Ways
  2. A Blacksmithing [40] In Search of Galvan/H Blacksmithing [40] Booty Bay or Bust!
  3. N Blacksmithing [40] The Mithril Order
  4. Three quests, which can be completed in any order:
Complete all of the above to get the quest
    N Blacksmithing [45] Expert Blacksmith!
  5. Complete any one of the three to progress:
    N Blacksmithing [45] Galvan's Finest Pupil
  6. Again, three quests which can be completed in any order:
  7. N Blacksmithing [50] Did You Lose This?
