The Lion's Wake[1][2] is the trail of destruction left behind by the Alliance siege towers from the North Coast to Brill during the Battle for Lordaeron.

Notes and trivia

  • According to Mathias Shaw, so much heavy weaponry, horses, and people necessitated felling trees and churning up the soil, and he hopes that over time this scar will recover.[3]
  • The area is called "The Lion's Wake" during the scenario,[2] but in the open world it is not displayed.
  • The combination of the fire and the damage left by the siege towers' tracks draws comparison to the Dead Scar left behind by Arthas Menethil during the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas.
