Levarian was a trusted flightleader of Neltharion during the War of the Scaleborn and the leader of the Earthen Bulwark. He was outfitted in gleaming plate armor.

Levarian was among the few dragons aware of Neltharion's work in Aberrus and also among those who witnessed the Aspect tapping into the powers of the Void to defeat the Storm-Eater during the Battle of the Reach. Levarian was bade to guard the dracthyr in their creches until they were placed into stasis.

During the conflict at Cinderfrost Vale he slew Oxoria's mate, then lost an eye battling Oxoria herself. Neltharion promoted him to the position of flightcommander for this service. He engaged in combat with Fyrakk during the Battle of Flamesfall and was joined in this endeavor by Alexstrasza's champion: Bojsanz of the Heart's Guard.

Levarian was struck down during the war's final battle at Harrowsdeep.
