Adventure Guide

Although Neltharion would not use them himself until much later, he experimented with elementium plating in the early days of Aberrus. The end result of elementium and shadowflame was Kazzara, who was deemed far too unstable for release. Driven mad by the excruciating pain of her elementium plates, she now serves as the guardian of the Shadowed Crucible.

Overview

As combat unfolds, Kazzara tears open Dread Rifts from which Rays of Anguish will form to hunt players. At 80%, 60%, and 40% health remaining, plates of Kazzara's menacing armor are shattered off during Hellsteel Carnage, intensifying her Infernal Heart.

Infernal Heart — Kazzara's exposed core pulses with her molten heartbeat inflicting 22470-54739 Shadowflame damage to all players every 4 sec, hastening as she loses more armor.
Hellsteel Fragment — Kazzara's armor shatters into blazing metal scraps, each inflicting 112351-273695 Shadowflame damage within 4 yards of impact.
Revenant's Blood — Kazzara's gruesome wounds spew out masses of her lifeblood, each inflicting 89881-218956 Shadowflame damage within 3 yards of impact.

Dread Rifts — Kazzara releases a furious roar that incites a burning mark within several players. After 5 Sec, unworldly rifts tear open beneath these players in a torrent of dreadfire inflicting 78646-191587 Shadowflame damage within 5 yards. Kazzara's exposed core causes Dread Rifts to target an additional player for each piece of armor that has been shattered.

Riftburn — The searing heat of the Dread Rift inflicts 44940-109478 Shadowflame damage every 1 sec to players standing within the effect.

Rays of Anguish — Kazzara summons fragments of blazing energy to blast out from Dread Rifts. Each fragment ignites a blistering beam and hunts a nearby player, leaving a Molten Scar in its wake. Touching the beam inflicts 67410-164217 Shadowflame damage every 0.3 sec.

On Heroic and Mythic difficulties, Rays of Anguish will continue to hunt players until they are consumed by a Dread Rift.
