High Sorcerer Andromath is a human quest giver considered as one of the finest and most powerful sorcerers not locked away in Dalaran.[1]
He is located in the Wizard's Sanctum, in the Mage Quarter of Stormwind City, and during the third invasion of the Burning Legion, in the Hall of the Guardian in Dalaran.
History
World of Warcraft
High Sorcerer Andromath is present at the top of the Wizard's sanctum where he went through Jennead Cannon to contact the mage adventurer and ask him to meet him, thanking him for agreeing to come.[1]
He told them the story of the mage Morganth who fell to the dark arts, and who refused to turn away from the evil magic as he could not resist, leading him to be banished. Andromath explained that he took the powerful book 
[Ur's Treatise on Shadow Magic] with him, in the Tower of Ilgalar in Redridge, and that the mages of Stormwind wanted it recover due to its dangerousness.
When the mage adventurer brought back the book, the High Sorcerer was relieved to learn that the dark mage had not hidden the book elsewhere and that he had failed to remove the seals on it.[2]
After thanking the mage adventurer for their help, he announced that they deserved to put on a garment more suited to their status, and that it was necessary to enter Duskwood to find the necessary materials. He explained that they would find the silk on the carrion recluse spiders hiding there, and then bring them to Wynne Larson, at the Larson Clothiers in the mage district, to make the robe.[3]
High Sorcerer Andromath also takes care of sending adventurers to Watchmaster Sorigal in Darkshire, to help him transport supplies to Nethergarde Keep in the Blasted Lands, where mages conducting research on the Dark Portals. He warns them to be ready to cross hostile territory.[4]
Cataclysm
Following the Cataclysm, Andromath and Maginor Dumas are the mages that helps teleport Hammond Clay (previously Marcus Jonathan) to Hogger Hill, after adventurers defeat Hogger, in order to imprison the gnoll and take him to the Stockades in the name of King Varian Wrynn.[5]
Legion
During the Burning Legion's third invasion, Andromath joined the Tirisgarde led by the new Conjuror of the Tirisgarde, and traveled to the Hall of the Guardian which he comments as the perfect place for arcane meditation.
Battle for Azeroth
During the Fourth War, Andromath conducted an arcane ritual in the Dalaran Crater, at the convergence of multiple powerful ley lines. Horde forces were sent to put an end to his ritual.[6]
