Hand of A'dal

The title Hand of A'dal was introduced in Patch 2.4.0 and was available to players who complete, or have completed, the attunement quests for Mount Hyjal (N [30R] The Vials of Eternity) and Black Temple ( [Medallion of Karabor]).

According to Eyonix, this title was not going to be available to players beyond level 70 in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, to prevent easy access to the title.[1] This was clarified by Tigole, who stated that the title would not be available once patch 3.0.X arrived.[2]

On October 15, 2008, Blizzard introduced Patch 3.0.2 which removed this title along with the  [Champion of the Naaru] title, for the reasons stated above. Players who earned these titles prior to Patch 3.0.2 still have the option to use it. The related quest lines are still available, but they offer no title.

If a player who has the title wants their alts to display it, the title can be accessed once an alt reaches level 70.

Note: Players who already had the quest N [30R] The Vials of Eternity in their quest log or had completed it at the time of the release of Patch 3.0.2 are still eligible to receive the title as long as they have never dropped the quest. A new version of this quest was put into place in 3.0.2 that ensured anyone who picked it up at this point forward would not receive the title.[3]
