Fleet Master Seahorn is a tauren pirate of the Blackwater Raiders located on the top floor of the Salty Sailor Tavern in Booty Bay in the Cape of Stranglethorn.
History
Fleet Master Seahorn was first seen when he learned from adventurers sent by First Mate Crazz about the Bloodsail's plan to attack the port.[1] To thwart the plan, Seahorn sent the adventurers to raid their encampment on the Wild Shore and recover their correspondence.[2] He discovered that Fleet Master Firallon, whom he appeared to have known in some capacity, was behind the planned attack and asked the adventurers to kill Firallon and the remaining Bloodsail leadership, Captain Keelhaul and Captain Stillwater.[3]
He also worked with Doctor Draxlegauge and Shakes O'Breen to find a treasury from Faldir's Cove. They had an elven gem delivered to him.[4]
Some time after the Bloodsail Buccaneers, the bitter rivals of the Blackwater Raiders, were spotted across Stranglethorn, Baron Revilgaz and Fleet Master Seahorn became targets of an assassination attempt instigated by Fleet Master Firallon. He sent adventurers who had chosen to ally with the Bloodsail to kill them,[5] however, the Baron and his Seahorn managed to survive.
When the Alliance and Horde were fighting in Alterac Valley and Warsong Gulch, Riggle Bassbait came to the town, and Seahorn informed Revilgaz about the newcomer.[6]
Cataclysm
After the Cataclysm, Seahorn once again became a target of the Bloodsail Buccaneers, with Fleet Master Firallon ordering to kill him specifically. When an adventurer tried to infiltrate the pirates, Yancey Grillsen asked them to bring him Seahorn's head as proof.[7] When the adventurer informed Seahorn about the situation, the fleet master instead devised to fake the death by killing the town's cow Bossy, taking its head and using a spare pirate hat from Narkk. With the things gathered, Seahorn found it amusing.[8] The infiltration yielded a success as the adventurer later returned with information about an upcoming attack on Booty Bay. Not soon after, Booty Bay was attacked by hostile pirates of the Brashtide Crew, and Seahorn quickly jumped into action to defend the port.[9] He knew its member Bruce.[10] When Revilgaz sent the adventurer to aid him, Seahorn asked for help to kill the members of the Brashtide raiders in the city[11] and hostile pirates aboard the Damsel's Luck.[12]
Seahorn also helped defend Sethria's Roost on Mount Hyjal against the minions of Ragnaros.[13]
Traveler
Some time afterward, Seahorn presented Adashe Flintwill with Sea King and assigned the former Brashtide worgen, Joe Barker, to be the new captain's first mate. Several weeks later, the Sea King and the captured Killmonger would return to Booty Bay and Seahorn would learn about the deaths of the Flintwill brothers.[14]
Warlords of Draenor
During the war in Draenor, he was sent by his captain to Lunarfall Inn / Frostwall Tavern on alternate Draenor, where he asked the commanders to look for a compass from orc tales.[15][16]
The War Within
A few years later, Seahorn was held captive by Jastor Gallywix as a hostage to ensure that Baron Revilgaz would work for him. While in captivity he witnessed his Darkfuse captures being killed by the ethereals, before subsequently being freed by Monte Gazlowe, Renzik "The Shiv", and champions. Following his liberation he was directed to reunite with Baron Revilgaz at the Bilgewater'sheadquarters.[17] After reuniting with his captain, Seahorn vowed that no Darkfuse would persist safely in any body of water as long as he lived.[18]
Following the assassination of Renzik, the Cartels of Undermine united behind Gazlowe to put an end to Gallywix's tyranny.[19] To defeat Gallywix, they first needed to eliminate his supply of Black Blood weapons, and so Revilgaz, Seahorn, and Noggenfogger went to the Blackwater Marina to end the shipments coming from there.[20] While Seahorn charged ahead to fight the Darkfuse, Revilgaz and Marin sought the aid of the champions.[21] Amidst the fighting Seahorn was injured, though a potion from Noggenfogger helped him recover.[22] Feeling renewed, Seahorn led his allies in repelling the Darkfuse from the Blackwater Marina[23] and with the killing of the hobgoblin in charge there, Dockmaster Skeez.[24]
While he led the Blackwater in taking the marina back, he directed champions with using hijacking a Venture Cratemover to rendezvous with Grimla Fizzlecrank. As they departed, he gave them a respectful salute.[25]

Notes and trivia
- First Mate Crazz referred to him as an old sea dog.[1]
- Interestingly, Seahorn knew Bruce and the Brashtide Crew, that originally belonged to the Blackwater Raiders, from before Gilneas closed its ports,[10] seemingly when it isolated itself from the world between the Second and Third Wars and when the worgen curse spread in the land. This would make Seahorn one of the few tauren that left Kalimdor before the Third War.
- He has a wyvern and a kodo as seen in Hyjal.
- During his cameo in the quest
[32-35 Daily] The Protectors of Hyjal, his phrase "I am... a tauren... of the SEA!" is a reference from the Captain of the Thames from Xenogears. - He is one of the NPCs that have a chance to appear as a Master Photobomber when using
