Emerald Oathstone
The Emerald Oathstone (also called the Green Oathstone)[1] is the oathstone of the green dragonflight, located on the eastern side of the Ancient Bough in the Ohn'ahran Plains. It represents the promise that Ysera and her flight made to the titan Eonar to protect the Emerald Dream.[2] Like the other oathstones, it is believed to have gone dormant when Ysera and the other Aspects sacrificed their powers to defeat Deathwing during the Cataclysm.[3]
After the Dragon Isles awakened, Merithra and the greens entered the Dream in an attempt to renew the oathstone.[4] After they were attacked by Koroleth and the Primalists, the greens sent the emissary Gemisath to the Khural to ask the centaur for aid, as they could not empower the oathstone without forces to defend their charge from Primalist attacks.[5] After Koroleth's defeat, Merithra and the centaur khans gathered around the oathstone[6] and performed a ceremony to renew the ancient pact between centaur and dragons. Merithra declared the oathstone the symbol of their covenant and promised to protect the Emerald Dream and her flight with her life, causing the stone to reawaken.[7]
