BlizzConline logo

BlizzConline was the fourteenth BlizzCon convention hosted virtually by Blizzard Entertainment from 19 to 20 February 2021. It served as a digital replacement for the 2020 physical event, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was free to watch and participate in via Blizzard's official streaming platforms.^[2]

Major announcements included the reveal of Diablo II: Resurrected, updates for Diablo IV, and the unveiling of Patch 9.1.0: Chains of Domination, the first major content patch for Shadowlands. Blizzard also previewed Hearthstone: Forged in the Barrens, Overwatch 2 hero reworks, and World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic. The event featured developer panels, franchise retrospectives, community showcases, and anniversary celebrations for Diablo and Blizzard Entertainment.

The Celebration Collection

The Celebration Collection is the virtual goodies/swag for BlizzConline and commemorates the 30th anniversary of Blizzard Entertainment. The collection is available in three tiers: Essentials Pack ($20), Heroic Pack ($40), and the Epic Pack ($60). They were available for purchase from 1 February 2021^[4] until 20 February 2022.^[5]

The collection was also available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch as the Blizzard 30-Year Celebration Collection but only provides the full Blizzard Arcade Collection game and the goodies for Diablo III and Overwatch, on their respective platforms where the collection was purchased.
