BlizzCon 2007 was announced on April 12, 2007, and took place at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, on August 3-4, 2007.

There were more than 13,000 people who attended BlizzCon 2007. Utgarde Keep, a dungeon from Wrath of the Lich King, was playable for attendees.[2]

All BlizzCon attendees had received their share of free Blizzard swag.[3]

The goody bag included: a in-game Murloc Costume toy, a beta key for an upcoming Blizzard game (StarCraft II or Wrath of the Lich King), a "Make Love, Not Warcraft" t-shirt, a World of Warcraft comic book, a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game starter pack, Blizzard themed coasters, Blizzard press pins, StarCraft colossus magnet, a character sheet magnet with a pop-out center, a Horde or alliance coin, an orc pin, a World of Warcraft: The Board Game epic armor pack, a special Murloc ally card (Mrglrglmrglmrrrlggg),[4] and hand sanitizer.
