Animated objects of different kinds can be found in World of Warcraft.
- Death knights have a spell to summon a flying sword.
- The blood elves of Quel'Thalas use animated brooms and mops in order to clean the walkways, dais', and houses of Sunstrider Isle, Silvermoon, and Eversong Woods. They also have floating flower pots.[1]
- In Tempest Keep, the sun king, Kael'thas Sunstrider, and his advisors use legendary flying weapons.
- In the Military Ward of Revendreth, the venthyr create living weapons empowered by souls and anima, such as Vorpalia, Remornia, and long-lost axe named Partannas.[2][3] Animated swords speaking to their wielders can also be found in Sinfall. The venthyr also make their quills sentient.[4]
