Aboard the Xenedar, after he trained for several years along with Alleria Windrunner, Turalyon was eventually infused with the Light by Xe'ra, granting him immortality.[2] 500 Nether-years later, Turalyon had become the High Exarch of the Army of the Light. Following a failed assault to try and shut down Argus' barriers, the demonic assassin named Eradication snuck aboard the Xenedar and ambushed Turalyon, stabbing him and Lothraxion with a dagger that cut them off from the Light. As he prepared to trap Turalyon's soul within a soulstone, they were ultimately saved by the unexpected arrival of Alleria and her mastery over the shadows. When Xe'ra arrived, Turalyon pleaded for mercy for Alleria, who still refused to renounce the Void, and she was imprisoned instead.[3]

Legion

Legion This section concerns content related to Legion.

During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, after Illidan Stormrage used the Sargerite Keystone to connect Argus with Azeroth, the Armies of Legionfall traveled to the demonic world aboard another dimensional ship, the Vindicaar. Soon after, the Xenedar joined them, only for it to be immediately shot down by Chief Engineer Ishkar using the Burning Legion's cannons.[4]

It would later be discovered that Turalyon, High Exarch of the Army of the Light, had survived the crash.[5] After an adventurer united with him, and later with his wife Alleria Windrunner, the three traveled to the crashed Xenedar to retrieve Xe'ra, the naaru who had previously sent her sentience core,  [Light's Heart], to Azeroth.[6] The Light Mother was then brought to the Vindicaar, as the Army of the Light secured the Xenedar to avoid it falling into the Legion's hands.[7]

Following the end of the Argus Campaign, the Vindicaar replaced the Xenedar as the dimensional ship and headquarters of the Army of the Light.[8]
