Visrynn is a kaldorei Darkfallen dark ranger who remained loyal to Sylvanas Windrunner after the Fourth War and accompanied Nathanos Blightcaller and Sira Moonwarden on their mission to kill the loa Bwonsamdi. Visrynn has dark hair.

History

At unknown point Visrynn was killed and raised into undeath, as other kaldorei had been.[1] She subsequently joined the Horde, like fellow undead kaldorei Sira Moonwarden and Delaryn Summermoon.[2] When Sylvanas abandoned the Horde,[3] Visrynn defected from the Horde to continue to serve the Banshee Queen.

While journeying from Hillsbrad Foothills, she suffered a hand injury due to having trouble with her steed. Soon after, she ended up with a group of Horde refugees in the Arathi Highlands, who she only agreed to join if they took an oath of silence. She subsequently traveled with them for half a day, and her injured hand was tended to by the Apothecary Cotley. She then departed from the group to Faldir's Cove where she sold a dagger to acquire a boat that she used to rendezvous with Nathanos in Nazmir within Zandalar.

She subsequently informed Nathanos that she traversed the highlands unseen, seemingly not realizing that she had slipped her plans to charter a boat to the refugees. This information would later be acquired by Turalyon and Alleria Windrunner, hunting for Sylvanas Windrunner, who upon deducing her movements informed Jaina Proudmoore who informed Anduin Wrynn. This information was later shared with Thrall and Ji Firepaw, allowing the Horde to realize that they had allied with the Widow's Bite, enabling them to inform Queen Talanji. Faced with this knowledge, Talanji rallied the Zandalari for battle, while the Horde Council did the same for the Horde.

Unaware of the sequence of events that she had started, Visrynn frequently served as a scout in the conflict against Bwonsamdi. She joined the final battle against Bwonsamdi at his Necropolis where her actions caught up with her as the loa received reinforcements from the armies of the Horde and the Zandalari Empire. While Nathanos was able to escape the battlefield, and Sira was captured and taken prisoner.[4] Visrynn's fate is unknown.

Speculation

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

At one point in the conflict, Sira was noted to have fought harder, becoming enraged at the passing of her kin. Thus, as a fellow undead kaldorei Visrynn could have been among the dead that fueled Sira's rage. Alternatively, Visrynn could have found a way to escape the conflict as Nathanos had.
