Verana, formerly a high elf ranger of the Farstriders, is now a Darkfallen void elf found in Telogrus Rift.
History
Verana was a friend of Alleria Windrunner, and years before the Second War, Verana and her fellow rangers, Auric Sunchaser, Rellian, and Talthressar, visited Windrunner Spire when Alleria was about to conduct her initiation to start training to become ranger-general.[1] Later, Verana and the other rangers joined Alleria's unit when she was to leave Quel'Thalas for a mission in the outside world.[2]
Verana was Alleria's right hand during the Alliance Expedition's incursion against Ner'zhul and the united orc clans after the Second War. On the eve of the crossing through the Dark Portal, Alleria came to Verana and asked her to do her a great service. Alleria explained that it was evident that there was a great risk that she might die in her campaign, and wanted Verana to deliver pendants to Sylvanas and Vereesa. Verana promised to keep them instead, awaiting Alleria's return so that she could give them to the sisters herself. With that, she departed for Quel'Thalas.[3]
Eventually, she gave one of the pendants to Sylvanas, who lost it during her final stand at a spire formerly located somewhere between the Elrendar River and Fairbreeze Village. 
[The Lady's Necklace] was one day to be recovered from anguished undead that had taken it to Windrunner Spire, the Ranger-General's former home.[4]
Her life after the Third War is unknown, but many years later, she reappeared in Telogrus Rift as a Darkfallen void elf.

Since she is a Darkfallen, Verana possibly died and was resurrected during the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas.
