Wago.io (or just Wago) is a large WeakAuras and AddOn hosting website that launched in July 2016.[1] The site entered beta later in the month on July 30th with support for ElvUI import strings.[2]

On 15 June 2020, Wago was acquired by Method.[3][4] On 23 February 2021, Wago expanded to add support for hosting AddOns on the site along with a new app for AddOn management.[5] In February 2022, Wago partnered up with WowUp, allowing WowUp's manager to manage and auto-update AddOns available from Wago.[6]

Features

The site hosts a slew of community-created addons and strings for World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV. As of January 2024 for World of Warcraft, the website provides a place to share the following types:

  • AddOns
  • WeakAuras
  • BlizzHUD (aka Edit mode introduced with Dragonflight)
  • Deadly Boss Mods (DBM)
  • ElvUI
  • OPie
  • Plater Nameplates
  • TotalRP
  • VuhDo

Wago.tools

Separate from the main website, wago.tools is a data mining website for World of Warcraft, created as a replacement for WoW.tools. Warcraft Wiki uses this website to source and add fileid information to WoW's textures such as the WoW Icons.

It currently has some of WoW.tools features, with more features likely to come in the future:
