General

[Plague Leech] now an Unholy exclusive ability

[Roiling Blood] now a Blood exclusive ability

[Unholy Blight] now baseline for all Death Knights and shares a cooldown with [Outbreak]

New level 56 talents:

  • Rune of the Creeping Shadow – Affixes your weapon with a rune that has a 10% chance to cause Creeping Shadow on hit, dealing Shadow damage over 8 seconds and stacking up to 5 times. At 5 stacks the effect detonates, dealing Shadow damage to all enemies with 8 yds and affecting them with Blood Plague and Frost Fever. Replaces Pestilence.
  • Rune of the Devouring Corpse - You absorb the souls of the enemies you kill, increasing your Strength by 2% and stacking up to 5 times. At 5 stacks the souls explode, dealing Shadow damage to all enemies within 8 yds and increasing your Mastery, Haste, or Critical Strike Chance for 5 seconds. The highest stat is always chosen.
  • Rune of Vehement Pestilence - Increases the damage done by your diseases by 20% and makes them unable to be dispelled. In addition, whenever you apply a disease to a target, or one of your diseases deals damage, there is a 10% chance to spawn an undead minion to attack the target for 10 seconds.

Clean up [Runeforging]:

New Spell: Bind Phylactery – The Death Knight binds their soul to a phylactery which is then placed at their feet and lasts for 15 seconds. If the Death Knight takes lethal damage during this time the phylactery is destroyed and the Death Knight is restored to 20% of their maximum health. 3 minute cooldown

Blood

New Spell: Blood Beast – Summon a blood beast to attack your target, dealing damage. Whenever the blood beast deals damage to a target affected by your Blood Plague, it restores a percentage of your health. Costs 30 Runic Power + 5 per second. Shares a cooldown with Raise Dead.

[Heart Strike] now available at level 55

New Spell: Mark of Blood - Place a Mark of Blood on an enemy. Whenever the marked enemy deals damage to a target, that target is healed for 4% of its maximum health. Lasts for 20 sec.

[Sanguine Fortitude] removed, [Icebound Fortitude] reduces damage taken by an additional 30% for Blood spec only

Chaos

Mastery: Necrotic Invigoration - Increases the effectiveness of your Horn of Winter ability by 32%, and your Necrosis has a chance to increase your rune regeneration by 7%. Each point of Mastery increases each bonus by 1.8%.

Active Abilities

Acherus Stalker - Summon a geist that stalks the target, increasing all damage taken by 15% for 6 seconds. 45 sec cooldown.

Blood Surge - Surge blood magic into the target, dealing Shadow damage plus 12.5% for each of your diseases on the target. The wave of energy reverberates towards nearby enemies dealing half of the damage up to 2 times. Replaces Blood Strike.

Chaos Presence – Increases your rune regeneration by 15% and increases your maximum Runic Power by 200.

Only one Presence may be active at a time, and assuming a new Presence will consume any stored Runic Power.

Entomb - Entomb the target's weapon in ice, disarming them for 8 sec.

Finger of Death - Launches a deadly magic spike towards an enemy, dealing Shadowfrost damage and infecting the target with Frost Fever. Finger of Death always critically strikes. Replaces Icy Touch.

Necrosis - Blast the target with necrotic energy, dealing Plague damage. Costs 30 Runic Power. Replaces Death Coil.

Rune of Death's Embrace - Affixes a rune which increases your spell power by 2% and Runic Power regeneration by 4% on one-handed weapons, and increases your spell power by 4% and Runic Power generation by 8% on two-handed weapons.

Spectral Throw - Throw a spectral version of your weapon at the target, dealing Shadow damage and infecting them with Blood Plague and Frost Fever. Replaces Outbreak. 1 minute cooldown.

Virulent Flux - Contaminate the enemy with a deathly disease, dealing Nature damage and infecting the target with Blood Plague. In addition, dealing damage with Blood Plague has a chance to make your next Virulent Flux not consume a Rune. Replaces Plague Strike.

Passive Abilities

Abomination's Might - Your Blood Surge and Necrosis have a chance to increase the total Strength of party members within 45 yards by 10% for 10 sec.

Hand of the North - While in Chaos Presence, your Finger of Death can be used on friendly targets to remove all Magic effects from them. When used this way, Finger of Death has an 8 second cooldown.

Improved Chaos Presence - While in Chaos Presence, your Horn of Winter has a 20% reduced cooldown.

Necrotic Rot - Your Necrosis ability affects the target with Necrotic Rot for 16 seconds. Whenever allies attack a target with Necrotic Rot, they are healed for 4% of the damage done.

Path of the Dead - Permanently converts all Frost runes into Death runes. Death Runes count as a Blood, Frost, or Unholy Rune.

Your spell power is now equal to 150% of your attack power.

Your Frost Fever now slows the target's melee and ranged attack speed by 6%, and your Blood Plague now causes the target to take 5% additional magic damage.

Your Horn of Winter ability now also increases Mastery.

Frost

Mastery Revamped: Engine of Destruction - Your auto-attacks have a 13.2% chance to grant a 100% critical strike bonus to your next Obliterate or Frost Strike and cause it to be free to cast.

New Spell: Deathchill - Your next Icy Touch or Howling Blast within the next 15 seconds will critically hit and deal 50% more damage. 1 minute cooldown.

New Passive: Glacier Rot - When your Death and Decay ability deals damage, you have a 15% chance to gain 5 Runic Power.

Unholy

Mastery Revamped: Plaguebearer - Increases all Nature and Shadow magic done by 11.9%, and increases the damage of your minions by 16.7%.

[Dark Transformation] now available at level 63

[Improved Unholy Presence] now available at level 65

[Scourge Strike] now available at level 55

[Unholy Presence] now available at level 60
