Dungeon Journal
One of the ancient kings of Azjol-Nerub. Anub'Kahar was granted the title of Under Prince by the nerubian queen of his era, Jiak'Nazeer. At his queen's command, he led the forces of the nerubians ancient empire against the tol'vir and the earthen protecting the titan complex of Ulduar. His forces captured many of the titan constructs and returning them to Azjol-Nerub as slaves and experimental subjects in cruel nerubian ritauls. In recognition of his service, he was entombed within the Necropolis of Nerub after his death.
The mad necromancer, Necrolord Negesh, has raised the Under Prince into the service of the remaining Scourge in Northrend. Anub'Kahar knows only hatred now for the living, and will feast on the flesh of any who cross his path.
Spells and Abilities
Phase One - The Fallen of Nerub
Negesh the Soul Herder has released a storm of necromantic energy in the crypt, causing every dead thing to be revived. Nerubian dead will slowly reanimated and emerge from their graves.
- Disturbed Slumber — The necromantic spell reanimating the nerubian dead is slow to take effect. All enemies initially spawn with 50% reduced damage, spell-casting, and movement speed. They will gradually become more animate, gaining 10% of their stats back every 5 seconds.
- Kahar'Tet Bloodletter
Eight of these adds will spawn throughout Phase One.
- Furious Charge — The Bloodletter charges and interrupts the target furthest from itself, dealing a burst of physical damage and applying the Bleeding Wound debuff, which causes periodic physical damage for a short time.
- Blood Rage — Increases the Bloodletter's attack speed for a short period of time. They will fixate on and attack a random target.
- Kahar'Tet Relic Magus
Four of these adds will spawn throughout Phase One.
- Necrobolt — Deals a blast of shadow damage to the target. Interruptible.
- Summon Sacrifice — Summons a pair of Sacrificial Skeletons that will attack random targets.
- Dark Mending — Heals the target for 60% of their total health. Interruptible.
- Kahar'Tet Crypt Fiend
Two of these adds will spawn throughout Phase One.
- Crushing Blow — Deals a high amount of physical damage to the target.
- Crawling Vermin — The Crypt Fiend's body is infested with vermin that swarm over all targets within 10 yards, dealing minor physical damage that slows and interrupts spell-casting.
- Wrath of the Fallen Soldier — When the Crypt Fiend loses his Disturbed Slumber debuff, he will slowly gain the stacking buff Wrath of the Fallen Soldier, increasing his damage. Stacks to 99.
Phase Two - From the Depths I Come
Anub'Kahar's Abilities
- Torture Slash — Deals a massive burst of physical damage to the target and causes them to bleed for additional physical damage over a short period of time.
- Crush — Anub'Kahar grabs his current target in one of his pincers and crushes them, stunning them and dealing periodic physical damage for 20 seconds.
- Spiked Heavy Shell — Reduces the damage Anub'Kahar takes by 50% from all sources. Those attacking Anub'Kahar in melee combat take 25% of the damage they deal as physical damage.
- Spawn Corpse Scarabs — Causes a corpse to explode and spew out Corpse Scarabs, which will immediately move to attack random targets. Corpse Scarabs will explode in a splash of poison when slain, afflicting anyone nearby with Corpse Scarab Acid.
- Corpse Scarab Acid — A stacking debuff that increases the damage taken from all sources. Stacks to 99.
Phase Three - Raiiid!
Phase Three begins when Anub'Kahar reaches 75% health. His heavy spiked shell will break off, rendering him more vulnerable to damage. Pairs of adds from Phase One will spawn periodically.
Anub'Kahar's Abilities
- Torture Slash — Deals a massive burst of physical damage to the target and causes them to bleed for additional physical damage over a short period of time.
- Slashing Charge — Anub'Kahar faces a random player and prepares to charge. He will then pursue the player while slashing anything in a 90' arc in front of himself. His movement speed will be 50% of normal at first, increasing by 10% every second for 10 seconds, at which point Anub'Kahar will end the charge. Anything, including adds, caught in the Slashing Charge will be instantly slain, and if a target's health is less than 50% their corpse will be destroyed. Anub'Kahar loses 5% movement speed when he destroys a target.
- Locust Swarm — Used constantly when his shell is destroyed. Deals nature damage to all targets. The more corpses that are present in the area, the more damage the swarm deals.
