Dungeon Journal
The mightiest of the necromancers that has flocked to the banner of the Scourge remnants invading the Necropolis of Nerub. Driven into a deranged frenzy by the overwhelming energies of death that permeate the ancient tomb, Negesh has begun raising every single corpse he has managed to exhume into undeath. Far too many nerubians have risen for Negesh to fully control, and they have turned upon and slaughtered all of his living servants - much to his delight, as it has given him even more corpses to resurrect.
Abilities
Phase One - The Soul Herder
- Desouled — Players whose souls are removed are cast into the Spectral Realm. In the Spectral Realm, players will be phased and unable to see their allies or Negesh in the Material Realm, but they can see their Desouled bodies. Moving into close range of their Desouled body will instantly return their soul, enabling them to regain control and fight in the Material Realm. While in the Spectral Realm, players can damage any enemies also in the Spectral Realm.
- Soul Fire — Players in the Spectral Realm will leave behind trails of burning blue flame in the Material Realm as they move. Anyone standing in these blue flames will take periodic shadow damage.
Negesh's Abilities
- Soul Flay — Deals periodic shadow damage to all targets ever 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds.
- Steal Soul — Negesh steals the soul of his current target and several other random targets, tearing them free from their bodies and casting them into the Spectral Realm. Desouled players wander aimlessly and cannot take any action until their soul returns.
- Soul Tear — Whenever a player's soul reunites with their Desouled body, Negesh will open a Soul Tear at their current location. Soul Tears deal shadow damage to anyone standing in them and grow steadily over time. Soul Tears are visible in the Spectral Realm where they deal no damage, but cause a Soul Arbiter ghost to spawn within the tear. The larger a Soul Tear becomes, the more Soul Arbiters it will spawn. When a Soul Arbiter is killed, a Soul Tear shrinks, but it will never disappear entirely.
- Might of the Screaming Soul — Every Soul Tear present will increase Negesh's attack power. The larger the tear, the more powerful he will become. Stacks to 99
Soul Arbiter Abilities
- Soul Bolt — Deals shadow damage to a random target.
- Intangible — Invisible to those in the Material Realm.
Phase Two - Relinquish Your Souls
At 20% health, Negesh will partially merge the Spectral and Material realms. Portals to the Spectral Realm will appear, allowing players to freely pass between the two. Soul Arbiters will be able to target and attack players in the Material Realm, but players will only be able to attack them when in the Spectral Realm. Negesh will send his soul into the Spectral Realm, becoming a separate target to attack in addition to his physical form.
Negesh's Body Abilities
- Soulless — Can only interact with enemies in the Material Realm. If Negesh's soul is slain, Negesh's Body will immediately die.
- Soul Flay — Deals periodic shadow damage to all targets ever 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds.
- Soul Void — Negesh's soul is missing, creating a horrible void within him. If the difference between the health of Negesh's Body and Soul is greater than 5%, both will produce waves of dark energy, dealing heavy shadow damage every second.
Negesh's Soul Abilities
