Description
The Jailer has withdrawn his forces. I should be relieved, but I fear this means he has found a way into the Sepulcher.
<Elder Ara trembles.>
Despite Elder Kreth's doubts, you have proven to be an ally. Something we need more of.
When our expedition arrived in Zereth Mortis, we discovered a dormant waystone. If you are indeed a Maw Walker, then the prophecies tell us that you will be able to activate it.
If your allies can save this sacred place, then the path to them must be opened.

Notes
On accept, Ara runs off southwest to the Geometric Cavern. Pelagos runs after her.
- Elder Ara says: I shall show you to the waystone. Follow me.
- Elder Ara says: The sacred words tell us that the First Ones placed waystones at crucial locations where they would one day be needed.
- Elder Ara says: The waystones would respond only to certain living mortals. The ones destined to save the realms of Death. The Maw Walkers.
- Elder Ara says: Let the prophecy be fulfilled!
She and Pelagos stop in front of the Ancient Waystone at the back of the cavern. When the player steps up to it, both of them start glowing:

The player gets an Extra Action Button:
Open the Waystone — Participate in opening the Ancient Waystone.
When the player starts casting:
- Elder Ara says: If it is the will of the First Ones, this waystone will open to you, mortal.
Upon finishing the cast, the waystone opens and becomes interactable. Use it to travel with Pelagos back to the Ring of Transference in Oribos, where the reopened gateway to Zereth Mortis has been installed and the player's allies await: Bolvar, Baine, Kleia, Jaina, Shandris, and the Four Horsemen. Pelagos is already standing with Kleia when the player arrives. On approach:
- Kleia says: Pelagos! Thank the Archon you are safe!
- Pelagos says: Kleia! Zereth Mortis is wondrous! I have so much to tell you.
- Highlord Bolvar Fordragon says: We are relieved to see you back safe, Maw Walker.
On completion:
- Highlord Bolvar Fordragon says: After your flight from the Arbiter's chamber, we defeated the nathrezim... but they had sabotaged the gateway.
- Highlord Bolvar Fordragon says: Once the stain of Maw magic had been cleansed, the Primus placed the gateway in this chamber.
- Highlord Bolvar Fordragon says: He trusted that you would find an anchor on the other side to reactivate it, giving us a path to Zereth Mortis.
- Highlord Bolvar Fordragon says: Now the true work begins... to save Anduin and to prevent the Jailer from remaking reality in his dark image.
