- He and his quotes are a reference to the Lich King, Fungmourne a reference to Frostmourne, and the Fungal Throne to the Frozen Throne. His "Morel Coil" ability and [Morel Coils] loot are a pun on
[Mortal Coil]. - Throwing a
[Sporonite Bomb] on the Lichen King after engaging him in combat awards the player with the [Clever Use of Mechanical Explosives] achievement. - During the beta, he was a rare elite.
