Thaurissan is the current royal family of the Dark Iron clan.

• Sorcerer-Thane Thaurissan, ruler of the Dark Irons during the War of the Three Hammers. Responsible for summoning Ragnaros into Azeroth.

• Moira Thaurissan (born Moira Bronzebeard), daughter of Magni Bronzebeard, wife of Dagran Thaurissan, and Queen-Regent of the Dark Irons after her husband's death.
• Dagran Thaurissan II, the young son of Dagran and Moira, making him the heir to both Ironforge and the Dark Iron.
