Does anyone have a picture or link of the map of Silithus before it's revamp in 1.8? --Tampler 12:12, 19 June 2006

It's in the article.. Varghedin, 17:25, Dec 21st 2006 (CET)

The Sand Gnomes

In the sand gnomes' article it says they originated from Silithus. I dont mean to be rude, but where does it say this? Mr.X8 17:27, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

The dwarves in the quest say it, or rather they say that they were looking for them there.--SWM2448 17:29, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Ok. What quest Im not that good at WoW yet.

Mr.X8 23:40, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

In the long dialog that happens while escourting the team in N [15-30] Digging Through Bones.--SWM2448 23:46, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

The way the artical says oh, what was it? umm...er...huh...Uninhabited! AQ IS THE OPPISITE OF UNINHABITED! Didnt know if I should cange this. sorry for rudeness, wrriting at 1:30 Cormundo 04:09, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Future of silithus

I've added a section refering to the deletion of southern silithus with WotLK. --Adamb10 18:15, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Silithus isn't being deleted... The map shown for WotLK is based off the Alpha map, in which Silithus did not exist. http://www.wowwiki.com/Image:Azeroth-alphamap-cities.jpg I say that section should be removed. An updated map with Northrend in it should be shown later on... Shinny 16:47, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

4.1.0

Is it to early to post about the revamp here in patch 4.1.0? Hallowseve15 (talk) 17:05, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

That depends. Are the updated quests accessible in the game, or only through datamining? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:15, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Pre-1.8 Silithus Map

It looks like [this link] has expired lo-o-ong ago. Here's the more reliable one: http://www.scrollsoflore.com/gallery/albums/wow_maps/silithus_old.jpg Vaximillian (talk) 06:04, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

I just uploaded the image to the wiki. Much better than depending on an external link. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:18, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

7.3.2

Is Silithus gone forever or is it just a phase/scenario? Xporc (talk) 19:25, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

I think it's like Theramore and Blasted Lands. Zidormi will likely be able to phase it back. ReignTG (talk) 19:28, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
It's the most likely, but i'd like to know ASAP if it's forever gone so we can start a serious archiving effort Xporc (talk) 19:31, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
What is left to add? It was never updated.--SWM2448 19:36, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Check the various edits Mordecay did. There are still missing NPC dialogs, informations, etc. Xporc (talk) 19:39, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
Yup, a lot of stuff is still missing. Though just like ReignTG said, Blasted Lands and Theramore (Peak of Serenity in Kun-Lai Summit as well, recently...), Zidormi is simply taking you back in time to explore the past of the zone before being invaded by Iron Horde, being destroyed by Garrosh or the Legion just literally destroying it. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 20:33, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

Uh, I just understood that Whispers_of_a_Frightened_World#Final_Stage:_A_Word_of_Warning was actually talking about Sargeras wounding Azeroth and destroying Silithus. Xporc (talk) 14:43, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Good news, Zidormi will come to the rescue once again: http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/7058-Patch-7-3-2-Silithus-Past-Solo-Gul-dan-Kill-Blue-Posts-Tweets-DLC-603 Saves us the headache of overhauling everything Silithus-related for now ;) Xporc (talk) 17:27, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
Good to know! :) PeterWind (talk) 20:21, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

So now that Silithus is gone, should we create a separate page or just update the original? Ryon21 (talk) 22:01, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

I would say that depends on whether or not the state previous to the new one, can be reached through bronze dragon magic. Has the zone changed name? PeterWind (talk) 22:20, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
The original SIlithus zone can still be accessed through bronze dragon magic, and during leveling. A simple update of the current page is enough. Xporc (talk) 22:25, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

7.3.5

Anyone in the PTR knows if the map will be updated and new sub-zones will be added? --Ryon21 (talk) 09:29, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Yes to both, though I have not tried the PTR myself. Xporc (talk) 19:35, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Should we create pages about the Alliance and Horde new bases even though there isn't any subzone? Also, any of the old subzones in Silithus like Bones of Grakkarond still have their names shown in-game? If not, should we cross them no? --Ryon21 (talk) 03:11, 18 January 2018 (UTC)

There are sub-zones, those that have names on the world map. Probably don't cross since they exist in the past version of the zone? --Mordecay (talk) 03:14, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Old Silithus is still accessible and fully functional, yes. Also think we should create pages for the Alliance & Horde base, maybe Silithus Alliance base and Silithus Horde base. Xporc (talk) 09:06, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Are the bases not named in the quest line? PeterWind (talk) 10:06, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
They are not. They just say that they've established outposts. Personally, I think it's better to put them under Staghelm Point and Southwind Village--the subzones they use--than to create separate pages for them with made-up names. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 10:43, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
I agree with DarkTZeratul. I don't think we need to make up names, when the bases are part of named subzones. PeterWind (talk) 11:51, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Alright then. It's possible the outposts will get bigger and with more lore through the next stages anyway. Xporc (talk) 13:01, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
