Coords vs Landmarks

Some folks don't use Cosmos. Displaying coordinates and assuming that is enough information is faulty. --Eirik Ratcatcher 14:13, 16 February 2007 (EST)

I Agree, but Cosmos isn't the only UI Mod that offers coords... There are many small mods that you can use to give coords... --Sting-Ray ZA 23:58, 18 February 2007 (EST)
Indeed.. cosmos is crap imo anyway. i use locationfu, its small and works great. and there are many more mods that give it. User:CrazyJack/Sig 03:44, 19 February 2007 (EST)

I added the {{coords}} Template to give the coordinates more meaning. -- Hoss 11:48, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Doing it again

The article says the quests don't reset - but I just picked up a coin from Ironforge, and I'm sure I did that last year - going to check a few others to see if they aren't repeateable this now.--Crash 19:07, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

I've updated the article. I think that the original author was suffering from a bug that affected some characters, but not others, that made holiday quests unrepeatable from year to year. As of around summer of 2007, my character, who had previously been affected by the bug, was able to reobtain said quests, including the Lunar Festival tokens. I think it was always intended that players be able to repeat them. Dr. Cheis 22:04, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Boats & Zeppelins

Are there Boat and Zeppelin icons that could be used? -- Hoss 11:51, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Lunar Invitation to Enemy Cities

As a possible consideration for the walkthrough, you CAN use your Lunar Invitation to teleport into and out of enemy cities. Since the elders inside a city are usually fairly close to the circle of greater moonlight you teleport to, it might be easier for people simply to teleport in, talk to the elder, and hearth out before they can be killed. Ansawa 03:02, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

It's more than just getting killed. You cannot use the invitation in combat. Which means if you aggro any guard or have any enemy player on you, you're stuck. Motlycys 21:19, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Alliance to Shattrath, Horde to Ogrimar?

Why are the Horde still advised to bind their Hearth to Ogrimar? Wouldn't Shattrath save you time waiting for a zepplin to Undercity? Darien Shields 04:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Because someone on the Alliance side updated their portion of the guide. If you're Horde, be bold and update the horde section to something that's more efficient. --k_d3 09:01, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Walkthrough for All Coins: Alliance - 41. and 46. double up flights iover Astranaar. Seems like this can be simplified; move second part of 46. up between 41/42; stop to do the Astrannar, then continue as 42. suggests. Doogen (talk) 03:51, 25 January 2009 (UTC)Doogen

Maps

I added maps with approximate blips, so you can get the general idea about where to go. However, the coords on the tables are more accurate. I haven't cross checked with the walkthroughs but I assume they're consistent. -Howbizr (talk) 15:59, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Reputation

I found this note on wowhead. "You do NOT get 75 rep with Darnassus, Exodar, Gnomeregan Exiles, Ironforge, & Stormwind. You ONLY get 75 Reputation with Alliance which is actually split up with the 5 Alliance categories and if you are exalted with one of the 5 then it is put towards the remaining non-exalted alliance races." If anyone can confirm, please update this article. -Howbizr (talk) 16:18, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Alliance rep gives you rep with all five Alliance factions, just as Steamwheedle rep is for all the goblin factions. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:58, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Proposal to add Achievement hint to guide for Alliance

Add a note to the time when you port to Moonglade from Undercity that at that time it would be a good idea to buy a Pant Suit/Dress for the "Lunar Festival Finery" achievement and to see if Omen is dead for "Elune's Blessing" achievement. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mouren (talk · contr).

This is a wiki, you can edit it yourself... User:Tekkub/Sig 20:02, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm horrible at Wiki, mine would be bad compared to someone who knows how to write it well. --Mouren (talk) 03:18, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Low Level

I got curious and decided to try getting as many coins as possible with my lvl 1 alliance auction alt going solo.

So far, it looks like I can get these. Anyone see any others? (It would defeat the purpose to do this with help from a friend, I want to see how many I can get solo.)

Organization

What about Freya's Elders? Should that group be included in this article, given its own article, or given no article? Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 05:35, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Um, this article is about the Lunar Festival Elders. Freya's Elders are not part of the Lunar Festival, ergo they should not be on this page. Why does this even need to be explained? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:59, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Well they share the name "Elders". This article isn't called "Lunar Festival Elders". So I was asking what do we do with two different things if they are both just called "Elders". Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 07:04, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

This article predates Ulduar. I'll take it upon myself to move it as you suggested, and update links. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 18:28, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Elders count toward total Quests Completed

For those working toward the title The Seeker from achievement  3000 Quests Completed, the elder quests (really just a click & complete) count toward the total done.

I am unsure if they count toward the  Loremaster title, but its very possible since these two achievements seem intertwined in most cases.

I think it exceedingly unlikely that the elder quests would count towards Loremaster. Few if any other event quests do. But it is something that can be verfied. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:29, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

Revised Cata locations

Going to list them here and then amend article later (unless anyone else wants to?). Some of the co-ords seem to have changed, even if the location has not. Heading North to South through Kalimdor... Tequima (talk) 14:54, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Update the article if you want to. There's nothing stopping you. --g0urra[T҂C] 17:32, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
