Differences

" This is a direct result of the orcs not using fel magic." How is it not a difference between the two Draenors? --Mordecay (talk) 22:43, 5 March 2015 (UTC)

It's only different as a direct result of another difference. The orcs didn't practice widescale fel magic usage - full stop. Obviously, anything that happened in the MU because they used fel magic does not apply in the AU because they didn't; listing out all of the results of that change would make the list enormous, and really kind of get off-track from things that were inherently different about the timeline.
In addition, it can be argued that the widespread use of fel magic would still have happened anyway had Garrosh not intervened. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 01:30, 6 March 2015 (UTC)

Draenor comparision to Outland

Ashran was named to Deathwing's Lair as known from BlizzCon 2013. In World of Warcraft, Deathwing's Lair doesn't exist at all, (lore wise it does) because even though it wasn't mentioned in Warcraft II expansion it still existed as the headquarters for Deathwing.

It couldn't have joined up with Tanaan Jungle to make Hellfire Peninsula. Was it demolish? It couldn't have been. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 03:08, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

It's a good bet that any islands or landmasses on Draenor that don't exist in Outland were obliterated when the planet exploded. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:57, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
Shouldn't this at least be mentioned in the Draenor-Outland comparison section of this article? — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 20:31, 26 April 2015 (UTC)

Chieftains & warlords

Good cleanup, Linneris, but Maraad called Grommash a warlord who defiled death and the warlord with the iron will in Lords of War. --Mordecay (talk) 12:44, 15 September 2017 (UTC)

This one's interesting, because otherwise the terminology has been pretty consistent: Chronicle only uses the word "chieftain" when referring to the main universe, and WoD only uses "warlord". Not sure how to proceed with this one. - Linneris (talk) 13:56, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
"CoD - Chieftains of Draenor" don't sound as catchy as "WoD - Warlods of Draenor", plus "CoD" is already Call of Duty :D Xporc (talk) 14:10, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
