Is there any news of his location in TBC? Pimmeh

Are there monkeys in WoW or any pictures since it said Brann owns one? Mr.X8 01:50, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

When they say monkey they mean ape.Zarnks 20:03, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Glibb.--SWM2448 20:05, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

A monkey is not an ape there different from each other. Apes are bigger and do not have tails and theres only 5 types of apes gorilla, chimpanzee, orangutan, and a bonobo. Monkeys on the other hand have hundreds of types and are small and almost always have tails plus technically humans are apes. So if you call a gorilla a monkey you might as well as call a human a monkey which both are not. (I changed it to gorilla) Harvy's wallbanger 18:51, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

it would be cool if they retconned it so he had a bonobo insead of a monkey

been everywhere?

how the hell has he been exploring all over Azeroth? how does he know everything from the Nerubians to the Master's Glaive? and where did he get Frostmourne from? this guy is like freakin Waldo! --Truckman1 04:53, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

How? Maybe he has an unlimited supply of Invisibility Potions with no cooldown. :D --Sky (talk | con | wh) 04:54, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

*cue music* Where in the World is.....Brann Bronzebeard?

Seriously, however - if Brann is supposed to be a big part of this expansion, my question: Where is he? Has anyone seen him yet? --Joshmaul (talk) 04:24, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Thought he was going to be in or around Azjol-Nerub. User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 04:29, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Found out he will be inside the Halls of Stone in Ulduar. --Joshmaul (talk) 07:47, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Conversation

Much of the quotes section doesn't make any sense at all unless we can put in the other side of the conversation. Would anyone be so kind? :) --User:Vorbis/Sig 11:43, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

if u notice the last quote of Brann is a reference to the X-files User:Manuelwow

Changed "Know the forgotten knowledge is within our grasp" to "Loads of forgotten knowledge is within our grasp" BrknSoul (talk) 08:50, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Voice Actor

It seems that the Voice Actor who plays Brann has changed in Patch 3.1, can anyone confirm? EDIT: Or the Brann Voice used with his Communicator is different to the Voice used within Halls of Stone. --BrknSoul (talk) 09:00, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

No, his voice has definately been updated, noticed the new voice during the Tribunal of Ages event in Halls of Stone today. --Suzanne (([User talk:Suzanne|talk]]) 00:48, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Confirmed (tanked HoS yesterday), the voice is different - not quite as rough-sounding as it used to be. --Joshmaul (talk) 07:43, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Class speculation

Hunter (presumed). While he has a pet in Silithus, I have failed to encounter Brann mentioning his beloved gorilla since his lost letter. Is it perhaps plausible that Brann is a Rogue? He seems very good at stealthing around dangerous locations and tends to only reveal himself when grouped with a small army of allies, typical Rogue behaviour! --catbeef (talk) 10:54, November 25, 2009 (UTC)

What? He isn't neccesserily a rogue, just because of being skilled at sneaking around, maybe he simple are some sort of "Very skilled guy with resemblance to both Hunter and Rogue". (I have no idea what to call it). --Gerrom (talk) 14:38, November 30, 2009 (UTC)

Don't know what you're all talking about... he's clearly a druid. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 18:31, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
Don't be silly. Druids have those bead thingies they wear! --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 01:15, December 3, 2009 (UTC)
Hmm.. but only recently... so they forgot to update his model. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 02:45, December 3, 2009 (UTC)

How Do You Say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" In Dwarven?

Was reading up random quests when came across H [25-30] Speak Orcish, Man!, and apparently, all of a sudden Brann forgets how to speak Orcish, or even Common? Why would the world's greatest explorer and linguist try to talk to a member of the Horde in frickin' Dwarvish of all things? Any thoughts?--Mondoblasto (talk) 11:55, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

There's no excuse for it... the quest designers wanted to make the chain longer at the cost of lore. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 19:14, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
Could be that his brain's all cluttered from everything else he knows. --Super Bhaal (talk) 22:49, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
The only source that says he can speak orcish is Lands of Conflict, and it wouldn't be the first time they ignored "lore" from the RPG books. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:59, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
They don't do as often as most people claim and even then it is not one millimeter more excuseable than it would be from any other source. Lore is Lore. But I do believe Brann's team member in Silithus repeats the sentiment. It really doesn't bother me as much as it probaly should but i just find it ironic of all the hundreds of notable characters in warcraft they picked the person least approrpiate for that particular situation.Warthok Talk Contribs 04:02, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

How can he talk to Cairne?

It seems a bit strange that Brann can simply visit Cairne and talk about the excavation site... wouldn't the tauren kill any dwarf that approaches Thunder Bluff?Jangodin (talk) 20:21, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

Tauren are not blood thirsty creatures. If they killed anything that approached Thunder Bluff, I don't think they would have many allies. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 21:14, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
Brann is known, worldwide, as a peaceful dwarf by roughly any faction/race. No reason to gank him.

/agree Coobra. Taurens are indebted to the Orcs (and thus are members of the Horde) for having been saved from extinction at the hands of the Centaurs. They don't necessarily share the attitudes of the Orcs, any more than the Orcs share that of the Forsaken. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:56, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
I see. It seems I thought a bit too much about this being an in-game event... thanks.Jangodin (talk) 15:25, February 22, 2010 (UTC)

Faction

I was just wanting to check and see if the change I made to Brann's faction icon was OK with everyone. If not it can be changed back to Alliance.AhotahThunderhorn (talk) 01:40, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

Stub

Can the stub-thingy go away? (Luxor (t•c) 11:43, 25 April 2011 (UTC))

The Guild

According to this [1] Brann created the Explorer Guild not Magni.--Mordecay (talk) 20:02, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Just says Brann was one of the founders. Doesn't contradict: "Magni helped to create the famed Explorers’ Guild of Ironforge" (WoW Manual). IDK where the "created by mandate" comes from on the guild's page. --Aquamonkeyeg (talk) 20:12, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
Ah, right. Cant find its source either.--Mordecay (talk) 20:24, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
