Description

I must confess, at first I thought Pelagos was making a horrible sacrifice. But now I see--he was giving the Shadowlands all the hope and compassion he holds in his heart. We should go and see him.

Speak with Tal-Inara when you reach Oribos.

I will meet you there, my friend.

On accept:

Kleia says: Pelagos... after so long, he has ascended higher than us all...

She flies out of Exile's Hollow.

The fastest manual way back to Oribos is through the Ancient Waystone in the Geometric Cavern. Find Tal-Inara at her normal spot in the Enclave:

All lives are entwined with the Arbiter--even your own, <name>.

 May I visit with the Arbiter?

Tal-Inara teleports herself and the player to the Crucible (which now appears the way it did before Oribos was engulfed in the Maw). A cutscene immediately plays:

The Maw Walker approaches the Arbiter, who is talking to Kleia.

Arbiter Pelagos says: --and tell Adrestes I am sorry I could not become an acolyte.

Kleia's tone is amused when she replies.

Kleia says: Somehow, I think he will understand.

Pelagos turns to the Maw Walker.

Arbiter Pelagos says: Maw Walker! My friend, without you, I may never have found my path.

Arbiter Pelagos says: Now I can direct the flow of souls to the afterlives they justly deserve.

Arbiter Pelagos says: Yet one goal remains before us. To truly restore balance to the Shadowlands, the Jailer must be defeated.

Kleia says: I have faith that the Maw Walker and their allies will succeed.

The Maw Walker gives an exaggerated nod.

Arbiter Pelagos says: Go in service, friends. Oribos--and all the Shadowlands--are counting on you.

Turn in to Kleia, who then offers  [60] Safe Haven, an optional breadcrumb back to Zereth Mortis. Completing this quest rewards the "Starting Over" criterion of  [Secrets of the First Ones].

Tal-Inara offers a teleport back down:

Blessed be his voice.
