Description
Without the Arbiter to stem the flow of souls to the Maw, the Shadowlands will never be fully repaired.
This cannot be the end. Surely you can think of something?

Talk to Pelagos:
- From the start... there has always been just one path.
What do you mean?
A cutscene plays (real-time, but with special pre-rendered character animations):
- Kleia lands next to Pelagos. He stands turned away from her with a resigned facial expression.
- Kleia says: Pelagos... What do you mean?
- He turns around to face her.
- Pelagos says: In service to the Shadowlands, I offer my soul.
- He gestures at the Vessel.
- Kleia says: What? No!
- Pelagos says: I have yet to ascend, Kleia. Perhaps there was a reason for it.
- Kleia says: But your soul--you do not have to do this!
- Pelagos says: I know. This is my choice, sister.
- Pelagos says: My purpose.
- Kleia is silent for a moment, then walks over and pulls him into a hug. Her voice is close to tears.
- Kleia says: I do not want to let you go.
- Pelagos says: Our souls are bound as one.
- He steps away from her and places his hand over his heart.
- Pelagos says: We will never be apart.
- He walks over to the Vessel at the center of the circle. Saezurah floats down from above.
- Saezurah says: A new voice, freely offered.
- Saezurah says: A worthy soul, pure and unburdened.
- Saezurah magically lifts the Vessel off the floor. Pelagos stretches his hand toward it.
- Saezurah says: Balance... restored.
- As Pelagos' hand touches the Vessel, the screen cuts to white.

Immediately after, a brief cinematic plays:
- Both Pelagos and the Vessel float into the air as the kyrian's soul flows into the Vessel and Kleia watches from the ground. Pelagos' body begins to disintegrate and the outline of the Arbiter briefly appears around the Vessel before a burst of blinding energy forces Kleia to shield her eyes. As she looks again, Pelagos has been transformed into a giant, radiant being: the Arbiter.

A new Arbiter is born
On the other side of the cinematic, Kleia lifts from the ground and slowly flies around the Arbiter.
- Kleia says: Pelagos? Is it... still you?
- The Arbiter says: Yes, Kleia. I am whom I have always been... and yet so much more.
- Kleia comes to a stop, hovering in front of his face.
- The Arbiter says: My path has become clear. I must take my place in Oribos.
- Kleia says: Go in service, brother of my heart. We will meet you there.
- The Arbiter says: Farewell, my friends.
- Saezurah says: The pattern is made whole. We return and continue.
