The Silvermoon Messenger is a blood elf courier sent by Lor'themar Theron to the Ghostlands. The messenger conveys the Regent Lord's annoyance at Vereesa Windrunner's presence in Quel'Thalas, and learns that ranger-general Halduron Brightwing had personally requested it. The messenger notes that Halduron had no right to go against Lor'themar's orders, though Halduron asserts his authority over such matters as ranger-general.
