The Shivering Trench is a ravine located just east of Frostwall in Frostfire Ridge. A pack of frost wolves inhabits the north half of the ravine, though one of their den areas has been taken over by a pale orc. The south half appears to be the site of a battle between boars and ravagers. Most of the boars are dead; only Coldtusk remains, barreling through ravagers as he rampages up and down the ravine.
Mokugg Lagerpounder and his companion Swift can be found by the sea south of the Shivering Trench.
