The Cracking Plains is a mostly flat icy area in central Frostfire Ridge where centipedes and ice furies roam. Another resident of the cracking plains is the mad gronn Grondo who stalks the region and is known for killing entire herds of clefthoof and devouring innocent frost wolves.[1]
The Horde forces at Darkspear's Edge watch over the region and seek aid from Horde commanders to deal with the threats within the plains.
