Sarvonis

Sarvonis is a Highborne mage. Originally a night elf, he perished and was raised as a Darkfallen during the Fourth War.

History

He was dispatched by Malfurion Stormrage to Ashenvale in an effort to aid Commander Delaryn Summermoon in defending the night elves' lands against the massive Horde invasion led by Sylvanas Windrunner in the War of the Thorns. Despite helping to burn the first bridge connecting the Falfarren River under Delaryn's orders in an attempt to slow the invasion, he and the other Highborne were all targeted and killed by the Forsaken dark rangers and possibly their Warchief herself later on in the conflict.^[1]

Following his death, his body was encountered by the Horde in their quest to resurrect Delaryn Summermoon as a Forsaken.^[2]

Sarvonis was raised as a Darkfallen, and years later relocated to Twilight Watchtower in Amirdrassil.

Despite dying in Ashenvale, Horde adventurers discovered his body at Delaryn's Demise. While this does show that his body was moved Nathanos Blightcaller only ordered for Delaryn, and later Sira Moonwarden, to be raised into undeath.
- This suggests that Sarvonis may have originally been among those raised as Forsaken or the corpse was added in error.
- His appearance in Dragonflight confirms he was resurrected off-screen.
