The Rookery is a dungeon in The War Within. The earthen of Khaz Algar have raised and trained storm gryphons here for centuries, but the area has recently been overrun by skardyn. The instance line is found in the northwestern corner of Dornogal on the Keepers Terrace.
This dungeon will be tied directly into the Isle of Dorn storyline.[1]
Adventure Guide
The Stormperch is not only the home and rookery of the stormrooks but also the barracks and headquarters for Stormward Baelgrim and the stormriders. For thousands of years, the Stormperch has stood unbreached by the earthen's enemies. Unfortunately, defense of the rookery is harder when the breach comes from within.

Head in:
- Stormrider Vokmar yells: Thank the titans you are here! The Stormperch has been breached and the Stormriders... corrupted!
- Stormrider Vokmar says: Hurry! If we free these stormrooks, we can fly there and try to end this madness!
Upon defeating Quartermaster Koratite and the other corrupted earthen near the stormrooks:
- Stormrider Vokmar yells: What is that orb? It's radiating dark energy... And it's affecting the stormrooks.
Interact with the Dark Fragment to destroy it:
- Stormrider Vokmar yells: While you go to the roosts, I will distract them here. We can link up later.
Hop on a Stormrook to fly across the chasm to Storm's Roost:
- Stormguard Gorren yells: The title. The glory. It should have been mine, Baelgrim.
- Stormguard Gorren yells: You never deserved to be Stormward!
Clear the room, then defeat Kyrioss, the first boss encounter.
Jump down and interact with a Stormrook Feather. Use the extra action button and target the ground where Chained Stormrooks are held, working down to the bottom of the well.
At the bottom:
- Stormrider Vokmar yells: Finally! I thought I'd have to fight Gorren on my own...
At the Crashing Storm Hall:
- Stormguard Gorren yells: Come then. Face me! I will stand proud on the debris of your corpse!
- Stormguard Gorren yells: The Voidriders follow me now!
Push north into the Dock Lifts:
- Stormrider Vokmar says: I do not like that it feels darker and colder as we go down. But, there are more survivors to rescue.
- Stormrider Vokmar says: The lift is out. If we want to keep going, we will have to go down the Stormrider way. Follow me!
Jump down into the Abandoned Mines!
- Stormrider Vokmar yells: What... is that? What did Gorren bring here?
- Stormrider Vokmar yells: We have to take it down.
Push clockwise around the path. Vokmar will occasionally grant the player an extra action:
- Storm's Vengeance 100 yd range — Place a beacon to call Stormrider Vokmar to assist you with an attack to electrocute your foes. Instant
Upon defeating the Void Ascendants channeling near the water the Voidstone Monstrosity is summoned.
