The subject of this article or section was part of Hearthstone's 10th Anniversary, a world event that celebrates the 10th anniversary of Hearthstone. Since the event has now run its course, this is no longer available.
The Ominous Portal spawned during the Hearthstone's 10th Anniversary event in Durotar, Stormwind City, and Valdrakken with a timer of 5 minutes, after which Whizbang appeared, tossing cards and summoning elite mobs that represent Hearthstone card characters.
Whizbang summons the following enemies each encounter:

Hotfix (2024-03-14): For the remainder of the event, the boss portal will open every 30 minutes (was every 60 minutes). - Hotfix (2024-03-12): Whizbang's portal should now spawn simultaneously in all three locations, every hour.
