Pick up this quest while on H [10-40] They Who Held Fast, and finish that quest before heading to the Boneslag.

After interacting with Roknor and Makar, keep heading northeast. On the north side of the giant skull are a Blackrock Siegesmith and a Thunderlord Apprentice working on the Siege Munitions.

These stones appear to retain the force and heat being hammered into them.

Further east, opposite the campfire where Gana Surehide was found, another pair are working on some heavy plating:

These thick plates are being tempered to withstand extreme heat.

After interacting with the second object, the quest completes automatically.
